
The Lodge at Sonoma

The Lodge is a newly-renovated resort and spa, located just one mile away from Sonoma Plaza. To help guests explore the area, it offers free shuttles to and from the Plaza, as well as complementary bicycles. It has two farm-to-table restaurants, a heated pool, and spa, and it hosts events like wine tastings with local wine makers in the lobby.
We have a room block at this resort since it is where our ceremony and reception will be. We hope you stay here with us for the weekend!

While we hope that everyone stays with us at The Lodge at Sonoma, there are many other places to stay in Sonoma that may work best for you. A few of those options are listed below in order from closest to farthest from our wedding and reception venue.

Inn at Sonoma
This inn is just two blocks from Sonoma Plaza and a mile down the street from The Lodge. Guests who book a room at this hotel will have access to complimentary breakfasts, wine and cheese mini picnics, freshly-baked cookies, and bicycles to borrow. Each room in this 27-room complex has a fire place, and some offer private decks or jetted spa tubs.
El Dorado Hotel
This 27-room boutique hotel was built in 1843 and is located right in Sonoma Plaza, steps away from restaurants and shops. It was recently renovated and has its own well-reviewed restaurant, El Dorado Kitchen. Guests who stay here can enjoy the hotel’s private fireplace lounge and solar-heated pool.


The Sonoma Hotel
This historic property, built in 1872, is located right in Sonoma Plaza and houses The Girl and the Fig restaurant. Often called “the Jewel” of Sonoma Plaza, The Sonoma Hotel offers 16 rooms, all with modern amenities and nostalgic charm.
Sonoma’s Best Cottages
Located one mile away from Sonoma Plaza, this unique complex offers 4 different cottages. Each has it’s own aesthetic and can accommodate a different number of people. This property also manages Sonoma’s Best Modern Mercantile shop, which is a modern general store located onsite.


Sonoma Creek Inn
This complex has 16 guest rooms and is often praised for being “affordable, cozy, and clean.” It is a few miles north of Sonoma Plaza and just down the street from El Molino Central restaurant. Many rooms have a small outdoor patio or deck for guests to rest and relax. If you stay here, ask the concierge about their wine tasting coupons.
Jack London Lodge
This small lodge was made famous by the writer Jack London and houses a historic saloon. Located on the banks of the Sonoma Creek, it has 22 rooms and offers an outdoor patio with beautiful views and an outdoor pool and spa. The area surrounding this lodge is rustic and relaxing and includes the delicious Glen Ellen Star restaurant.
